The highlights
And for the curious ones: here’s the whole story
When I was a little girl, I had one big dream: to speak every language in the world so I could talk to anyone, anywhere. I didn’t quite manage all the languages, but that genuine curiosity about people became the common thread in everything I do.
After studying languages (of course), I kind of stumbled into Human Resources. I started from scratch, learned fast, and found my own way, from junior HR Officer to HR Manager to a global leadership and coaching role.
One thing I always aimed for: to leave every role I took on, better than I found it.
My take on career planning? Show, don’t tell. In other words: be excellent at what you do, let people see it, and be open to the opportunities you create by showing up.
One of those opportunities came in 2016, when I was offered the position of Global Organisational Development Manager at Saint-Gobain. I was so excited. And wow, was I out of my comfort zone.
I left operational HR, my safe bubble where my value was very clear and people needed me every day, and stepped into a newly created role I had to shape from scratch. I joined the Global Management Team - big titles, big energy. And suddenly, the voices in my head kicked in: “I don’t belong here.” “I’m not competent enough.”
I started doubting myself, pulled back, tried to fit in, tried to be who I thought others wanted me to be… I lost myself, and with that, my potential got buried under a pile of limiting beliefs. My own interferences.
Something had to change. So I started a deep personal development journey. Facing your vulnerable spots is far from easy. But it brought me to who I wanted to be: a leader who dares to be herself and dares to say:
“I am competent, and I bring real value.”
Since then, self-reflection has become part of my life. I try to learn from everything that happens to me in life, especially the difficult moments.
That experience inspired me to support others in their own growth. I became a Certified Professional Coach and started working with teams inside Saint-Gobain. And I never stopped learning since.
All of this led me to the end of 2024, when I felt: Yes. It’s time. Time to spread my wings and launch my own business. I want as many people as possible, in as many organisations as possible, to experience the power of this work. And that’s how Libra Coaching was born.
Libra, my zodiac sign, stands for Balance. Balance in my approach as a coach, and the balance I bring through my work to individuals, teams and organisations.
